Magnesium's role in sleep apnea
We aimed to uncover the relationship between magnesium levels and sleep quality, particularly focusing on sleep apnea. Our study analyzed data from a large group of adults aged 20 and older, using a well-structured method to assess magnesium levels and the prevalence of sleep issues.

We found a notable connection between lower magnesium levels, measured as the magnesium depletion score (MDS), and the likelihood of experiencing sleep apnea. Specifically, individuals with higher MDS levels were significantly more likely to report sleep apnea, showing over three times the odds compared to those with adequate magnesium levels.

Interestingly, our research did not link magnesium deficiency to other sleep problems like insomnia or restless legs syndrome, suggesting a more complex relationship with sleep apnea alone. Additionally, we noticed that older adults with depressive symptoms showed a tendency toward excessive sleep rather than insufficient sleep.

While our findings highlight the association between magnesium deficiency and sleep apnea, they also point towards the potential of adequate magnesium intake in reducing this risk. This emphasizes the importance of maintaining proper magnesium levels for better sleep quality, especially in those at higher risk for sleep apnea.

I ordered this product due to the positive ratings, hoping it would be the magic solution for my intermittent sleep and fluctuating mood. Unfortunately, from the first night, my intermittent sleep turned into constant wakefulness. I lay in bed from three in the morning until noon, feeling nauseous and experiencing a strange pulse throughout my body. After five nights, my mood worsened dramatically. This will end up in the bin since the formula changed, and I found out the magnesium content is misleading, contributing to significant digestive issues.

Beautiful! The magnesium quality is excellent, in the proper glycinate chelate form. We give it to our 6-year-old in the evening. Previously, she often woke up at night with nightmares, but now she sleeps peacefully without interruptions and is much calmer during the day.

I have finally found a 200 mg Magnesium Glycinate tablet! It's an excellent Chelate product that's easy on the stomach and does not cause gas like other magnesium supplements. I take 400-600 mg daily for muscle issues, as advised by my physician. This 200 mg tablet is the only one I found after a lengthy search! It's easy to swallow and helps with calming sleep. I'm considering setting up an auto-shipment for this exceptional product.

Amazing, truly amazing! This magnesium works wonders for me. I didn’t expect that a whole food mineral could be so much better than the chemical alternatives. One capsule didn't suffice, perhaps I needed more. Magnesium is a crucial mineral, often lacking for many individuals. Taking my advice, start with one capsule and gradually increase until you find the right dosage, as three capsules have significantly helped my anxiety. My sleep, particularly, has improved due to my tendency to overthink. I am quite hyper and usually struggle to fall asleep easily. I shudder to think where I would be without these minerals; I’m immensely grateful.
